Gill Hydrophobe Trousers SS20 - Gill Hydrophobe Trousers The Hydrophobe Trousers are a great thermal layer made from a stretchy, fast wicking, fast drying, water phobic, warm material. They work well layering up beneath wetsuits, steamers, drysuits as well as under normal waterproofs. They are warmer than base layers but not as warm as Crosswinds or OS midlayer. I find that i use them to boost the performance of my longjohn wetsuit in the autumn, my steamer in deep midwinter or under a set of waterproofs if I am yachting. The fast wicking nature helps to shift moisture (sweat) from the body out to the breathable outer layer. 4 way stretch. 50+ UV protection. Wicking fabric that is non-absorbent and actively repels water. Flatlocked seams for comfort. Fabric Composition 96% Polypropylene 4% Elastane.
